We’re running full speed now! We have a white model of the set for the “Jessie Show” (designed by Theatre UAF student Carl Sage). On Thursday, after the crew built part of the platform and set up the pipe infrastructure for the columns, we set up a camera, lighting designer Deirdre set up some lights, and we ran some tests to see if the set was going to work – and if the floor treatment would reflect too much. It was a great success!
On Friday we shot scene 25: Sports and Understanding. Due to prior production commitments, Theatre UAF alum Levi (cast as male lead Michael) has been unavailable for rehearsals; it was great to work with him on this shoot!
I have completed a rough edit of the scene, but the music is wrong and we need to shoot some stuff on the set which will be inserted into the TV later.
I have also created a storyboard for next Friday’s taping of Scene 16: “Seeking Guidance”. 2 page pdf, approximately 130k.
We also had some small shoots on Wednesday, and 3 great rehearsals in the evenings! Yes, I’d say we’re running full steam ahead!
