BBC House of Games fans distracted by contestant’s appearance

BBC House of Games fans were seriously distracted by former BBC EastEnders star Michelle Gayle. Fans are all commenting on the same as Michelle heads into the studio alongside three other celebrities.

Fans of Richard Osman’s favorite quiz are praising Michelle for her ageless looks. The character of Michelle first appeared in 1990 on the soap opera.

She left in 1993. She’s on the program this week alongside other celebrities – the rower James Cracknell, Maisie Adam and the impressionist Rory Bremmer.

“Wow Michelle Gayle looks amazing on House of Games,” wrote one fan. A second fan of the program flocked to have their say, writing, “She’s 51 FFS. She looks half that age.”

Another agreed, writing, “Watching Richard Osman’s House of Games & Michelle Gayle barely look any different than when she was in Eastenders. Surely some sort of Hollywood style aging camera trick?!”

She has also had various film and theater roles and played Belle in the West End musical Beauty and the Beast in 1999. She has been on several celebrity-focused reality TV shows and in June 2007 she became a panelist for ITV. news chatshow Loose Women.

She first became public when she appeared on the BBC children’s television show Grange Hill in 1988 and 1989 as Fiona Wilson, who was notably part of a rap duo named Fresh ‘n’ Fly.
