At a prep school in New England, Sheri is in charge of admissions and struggles to diversify the student body. But when her only son sets his sights on an Ivy League college, his personal ambition collides with progressive values with convulsive results. An uncompromising look at privilege, power and hypocrisy. “Admissions” is the winner of the 2018 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play and the 2018 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play. “Astonishing and daring. An extraordinarily useful and atrocious satire – of the left, by the left, for the left – for today.” – The New York Times

“On the edge; or the geography of desire”

by Eric Overmyer

April 5-9, 7:30 p.m.

Sunday April 10, 3 p.m.

A joyful safari leading from the highest of the Himalayas to the unknown land, transforming into time travel and mixing the supple linguistics of Tom Stoppard with the historical overview of Thornton Wilder. “Three ‘stay-sisters’, each a prototypical Victorian explorer equipped with dialogue as concise as their helmets, strike their machetes through the wilderness while recounting past escapades among the natives. As intrepid hikers, they put on they are representatives of a weaker sex. Mr. Overmyer has written a play that is gleefully pro-feminist. “-The New York Times
