MITE organizes a program of plays

The MITE faculty with the Tetseo sisters after the play in Kohima on Tuesday.

Dimapur, June 29 (EMN): The Modern Teacher Training Institute (MITE), Kohima, held a play on June 28 at the college auditorium under the direction of Cynthia Kolakhe, Faculty of Theater and Arts in Education, MITE.

An update from the college says the program began with a presentation from Semester II student teachers on “Positive Attitude Leads to Success.”

He said renowned speaker and choreographer Abang Ajem gave a lecture on how hard work leads to success. In his speech, he mentioned vision, dream and satisfaction as important factors in the life of every individual. He added that education is important to understand the capacity of each individual.

It was followed by a puppet show presented by student teachers.

The guest of honor, Dr. TS Pandian, Associate Professor of MITE, spoke a few words on the importance of art in life.

The report said the student teachers performed a musical drama and parade during the program and also interacted with the Tetseo sisters.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Thungchobeni R Tsopoe.
